About Us
Saturnine Sighs is a duo from London, Ontario, Canada.
They make DIY music in bedrooms and basements. After all, if you want something done right, do it yourself. The two met when composer Brenden McAuley needed a singer for an ambitious concept album. He discovered singer Brianna "Bree" Kane on the internet, and she just so happened to live in the same city only a bus-ride away. The two joined forces, with a shared interest in genre-defying music, and theatrical storytelling. They decided to temporarily shelve their concept album and focus on creating a more accessible debut release. After two years of hard work, their debut album was completed, and is available now.
The band is dedicated to the art of surprise, mixing alt-rock, power pop, dream pop, psychedelic, sad indie, and synthwave into one package. Nothing is off limits. The Saturnine Sighs ethos contains only two principles: make amazing music, and do it on their own terms.
